Protecting Mental Health - The Magnesia Mobile Unit in Alonissos on July 10 and 11

The Magnesia Mobile Unit will carry on its operations in the Sporades, visiting Alonissos on July 10 and 11.

The Mobile Unit, overseen by the Ministry of Health and the Civil Non-Profit Company "DIODOS", works to monitor and protect the mental health of adults who lack access to appropriate structures.

It delivers mental health services to the most distant areas of Magnesia and promotes awareness among the healthy population through actions and psychosocial interventions.

It consists of:

• Psychiatrists

• Psychologists

• Social Worker

• Nurse

The Magnesia Mobile Unit extends its heartfelt thanks to the Municipality of Alonissos for providing accommodation and meals for the interdisciplinary team on the island, and to the ferry company SEAJETS for generously sponsoring the team's transportation tickets to and from the islands during the program. We want to highlight the significance of these sponsorships, as they were essential for the successful implementation of the Mental Health services project on the Northern Sporades islands.
