Drugs arrest and Seizure on Alonissos

It is an unfortunate fact of life that this will happen anywhere in the world, even in idyllic small Islands like Alonissos. What you have to remember is that for someone to risk carrying this amount of drugs onto the island - there is a customer base and a method and location to sell it! So keep your eyes peeled.

A 39-year old Albanian man was arrested in Alonissos, by police officers of the Narcotics department from Volos and local officers from Alonisso.

The man was carrying a travel bag and drugs to control done by the police possessed a quantity of 52.35 grams of cocaine just under a kilo of Cannabis.

The drugs were seized and the arrested person will be taken to the Prosecutor in VolosVolos.

Also arrested in Alonisos yesterday a 31-year man in possession of Cannabis weighing 18.1 g.
