Car park in the Old Town (Chora) is closed tomorrow Thursday 19th June 2025

It’s a bit like a comedy and you really could not make this up.

It would appear that the car park in the old town will be closed tomorrow Thursday 19th June 2025 so that the car park signage and parking bays can be painted.

So no cars can use it tomorrow and they are preparing it tonight so don’t leave your cars there overnight.

The Alonissos season is short enough so I would have thought that common sense would say let’s do this whilst The Old Town is empty!

There will be a reason for it, there always is, whatever the reason it appears to me to be…. To put it politely…..not strategically well thought out.
