Alonissos in the plan for housing public employees

The primary components of the housing support program for civil servants are detailed on the new digital portal stegasi.gov.gr. This "portal" was introduced by the Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, Domna Michaelidou, and the initiative is designed to assist civil servants working in regions with significant housing challenges by providing affordable and quality living conditions.

This involves the preparation and presentation of a study focused on exploring scenarios to address the housing needs of civil servants in 29 island municipalities, which, according to a prior survey by the Hellenic Society for Local Development and Local Government (EETAA), are marked by a significant intensity of housing demand.

Included in these 29 municipalities are the Municipalities of Skopelos and Alonissos.

The groups of public servants to whom it is addressed are the following:

Healthcare personnel (Doctors, Nurses, Emergency Medical Service Crews)

Substitute Teachers

Uniformed personnel (Police, Port Guards, Firefighters)

Other Specialties (mainly Municipal Employees)
